All students participate in structured swimming lessons as part of the PE Program. Instruction is level-differentiated, ensuring every student progresses safely from water confidence through competitive stroke development.
Horizon’s swimming pool is a dedicated aquatics facility serving students from Early Childhood through High School. Swimming instruction is embedded in the PE curriculum, building water safety, stroke technique, and physical confidence from an early age. The pool also supports inter-school competitions and after-school aquatics programming.

Foundational water safety skills are embedded from the earliest levels, ensuring all students develop life-saving awareness alongside swimming technique.
Horizon swim teams participate in inter-school meets across Abu Dhabi, giving competitive swimmers the opportunity to represent the school and develop athletic ambition.
Optional after-school swimming sessions provide additional development time for students pursuing competitive or recreational swimming.
The pool meets all UAE and ADEK facility safety standards. Supervision ratios, poolside safety equipment, and emergency procedures are maintained to the highest standard at all times.
