The Digital Literacy Lab at Horizon is a dedicated environment for developing the computing, coding, and digital fluency skills that every student needs in the modern world. Equipped with workstations, coding software, and collaborative design tools, the lab serves students from Elementary through High School as they develop computational thinking, digital citizenship, and hands-on technology skills.

    Students learn to code using age-appropriate languages and platforms, developing logical thinking, problem-solving, and the foundational skills of computer science.

    Graphic design, digital media creation, and visual communication skills across a range of software tools.

  • AI Literacy

    As part of Horizon's AI Integration Program, students develop a working understanding of artificial intelligence -- how it functions, how it is used responsibly, and how to apply it ethically in learning and life.

  • Research & Information Literacy

    Critical evaluation of digital sources, responsible online research, and proper citation of digital information.
