Horizon’s three purpose-built science laboratories give students the space, equipment, and safety infrastructure to conduct real scientific investigation. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics each have dedicated lab environments designed to match the demands of rigorous, hands-on learning from Middle School through Advanced Placement level.
Equipped for cell biology, genetics, ecology, and life science investigations. Students use compound and dissecting microscopes, prepared specimens, and modern biological research tools to develop the observational precision and inquiry skills that define scientific literacy.
A fully equipped chemistry lab with individual workstations, fume hoods, and a comprehensive reagent inventory. Students conduct titrations, synthesis experiments, qualitative analysis, and AP-level investigations with the safety infrastructure to support confident, independent lab work.
Designed for experimental physics across mechanics, electricity, waves, and thermodynamics. Equipment includes data loggers, oscilloscopes, optics sets, and precision measurement tools that support both standard and Advanced Placement physics investigations.
All three laboratories are designed, equipped, and managed to ADEK and UAE health and safety standards. Safety protocols are embedded in every lesson. Students receive formal lab safety training before conducting any practical work.
