About Horizon Private School – Branch

Horizon Private School – Branch, a co-educational school that follows the American curriculum, encourages the development of brave and compassionate young people of intellect and integrity who seek to contribute meaningfully to our world. Founded in 2008, it adopts the Common Core State Standards and currently serves more than 1,900 students from KG1 to Grade 12.

Continuous Aspiration

Thanks to the dynamic partnership of child, parent, and educator, the school has put its stamp on the educational community, moving up the Irtiqa’a inspection rating scale to achieve a ranking of ‘Very Good’ in October 2018.

New Horizon

Attaining this high standard is directly related to the proper implementation of the school mission and vision, which encourages students to reach for their dreams, try something new, be ambitious, and above all, be lifelong learners and distinguished global citizens. The school believes that there is no limit to what its pupils can achieve, underlined by a student-centered program that allows its young people to join the world’s leading universities. To this end, HPS-Br. provides a structured and purposeful framework that offers a variety of elective courses, as well as a long list of advanced courses that students in Grades 10-12 can take advantage of.

Opportunity & Excellence

Empowering students to go beyond what they may have thought possible, both academically and personally, and to ensure their emotional and social growth, the school offers a broad range of extra-curricular activities within the weekly schedule, in addition to various after-school activities.

Global Community

HPS-Br. is a cosmopolitan school that welcomes students of all nationalities. It endeavors to give its young people a comprehensive understanding of the world and an awareness of its diverse cultures. The school works hard to ensure that diversity is viewed as an opportunity for further learning, and not as an obstacle. This is an important part of molding our future leaders, who need to fully embrace cultural, language, and religious differences, exhibiting tolerance and respect at all times.
