The educational curriculum is designed to integrate skills and disciplines that make learning more meaningful and engaging. Every grade has subject specific expectations: a list of broad objectives that must be met by the end of each school year.

Visual Arts Students study a variety of art forms including drawing, painting, collage and print making. They experiment with a variety of media such as chalk, wood, clay, and paint. They study the elements of art: lines, colors, shapes, texture and patterns. |

Physical Education The physical education program offers activities that develop muscular strength and flexibility, motor skills, movement skills, coordination, balance, fitness, and self expression. This is achieved through group activities and games. Students learn safe conduct, team work, collaboration, sportsmanship and fair play. |

Music In our music classes, students will develop confidence in seeing themselves as artists and will have a growing appreciation of their individual artistic interpretation and vision. Their responses to tasks will demonstrate increased levels of technical detail and heightened levels of sophistication. |

French French is introduced as a third language since Kindergarten. Students are strongly encouraged to learn this language, master the French pronunciation, and familiarize themselves with its vocabulary and grammar. |

Spanish Spanish is introduced as a fourth language starting from Kindergarten. Students are expected to become familiar with the language, its pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, so they communicate with the Spanish speaking community in our school as well as outside their immediate social environment. |

Information Technology In an ever changing world, technology is a vital tool that helps us keep track of the world we live in. As thus, it is important for our students to learn the how-to and the skills necessary for them to research and perform presentations using the different media available. |

Library Skills Developing a love of books and reading is an HPS objective. Learning about books, book parts, how to use the different parts of a book, working on projects, etc... are some of the skills taught during the library sessions. |
